Responsibilities of the Role

Mandatory Qualifications
- AHPRA registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety & You”
- A current minimum P1 “C” class QLD driver’s licence
- Ability to access Cairns, Townsville, or Brisbane airports
- (Recommended) current flu and COVID vaccinations
- (Recommended) first aid and CPR certification
Desirable Experience
- Previous aged care experience
- Experience working in remote or FIFO roles
- Previous remote community engagement
Roster & Logistics
The FIFO schedule for this role is:
- 6 weeks on-site in Aurukun
- 2 weeks off-site for rest, travel, or personal time
Your leave dates are pre-determined to ensure you properly recharge. Moreover, fatigue management is a priority—we pledge that you will always have adequate downtime between rotations.
We’ll fully support you with:
- Travel to and from your home location
- Comfortable on-site accommodation
- All meals provided while on roster
