The District Health Authority (DHA) Sheikhupura, under the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, has announced job openings for Sanitary Patrol positions in various tehsils of Sheikhupura district, including Sharaqpur Sharif, Muridke, and Sheikhupura city. These positions are part of the ongoing efforts to combat vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria.

Available Positions

The available positions are as follows:

• Sanitary Patrol (Female):
  • Sharaqpur Sharif: 3 positions
  • Muridke: 5 positions
  • Sheikhupura: 7 positions
• Sanitary Patrol (Male):
  • Sharaqpur Sharif: 4 positions
  • Muridke: 9 positions
  • Sheikhupura: 16 positions
  • Ferozewala: 15 positions
  • Sukheke: 2 positions

These positions are on a contract basis for a maximum duration of 90 days, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: At least Middle pass (8th grade) from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit: 18 to 33 years. However, candidates with prior experience in dengue control programs may have an upper age limit of 40 years.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating an Android mobile phone is mandatory.
• Residency: Candidates must be residents of Punjab, with preference given to those from the respective tehsil.

Job Responsibilities

Sanitary Patrol staff will be responsible for:

• Conducting daily sanitation activities to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
• Spraying insecticides in identified areas.
• Monitoring and reporting on sanitation conditions.
• Maintaining daily attendance through biometric systems.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
